According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone in South Dakota was 556,081; and represented 83.09% of the total South Dakota voting-age population.

Minnehaha County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone (122,458), followed by Pennington County (67,638), and Lincoln County (42,869). On the other hand, the three counties with low Non-Hispanic - White Alone voting-age population were: Buffalo County (211), Ziebach County (361), and Oglala Lakota County (400).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's voting-age population that identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, Hanson County had the highest percentage (96.53%), followed by Hand County (96.43%), and Miner County (95.83%).
