According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 10,475,098 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) in Illinois, which was 81.76% of the total population of Illinois.

Cook County had the highest number of of people who identified as non-hispanic (3.89M), followed by DuPage County (788.59K), and Will County (565.50K). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as non-hispanic were: Hardin County (3.58K), Pope County (3.69K), and Calhoun County (4.37K).
