According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 1,039,026 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) in Montana, which was 95.83% of the total population of Montana.

Yellowstone County had the highest number of of people who identified as non-hispanic (154.62K), followed by Gallatin County (113.07K), and Missoula County (111.92K). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as non-hispanic were: Petroleum County (491), Treasure County (731), and Golden Valley County (788).
