According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 9,320,792 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) in North Carolina, which was 89.29% of the total population of North Carolina.

Wake County had the highest number of of people who identified as non-hispanic (1.00M), followed by Mecklenburg County (945.56K), and Guilford County (489.15K). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as non-hispanic were: Tyrrell County (2.97K), Hyde County (4.24K), and Graham County (7.81K).
