According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 6,431,653 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) in Tennessee, which was 93.07% of the total population of Tennessee.

Shelby County had the highest number of of people who identified as non-hispanic (852.04K), followed by Davidson County (617.77K), and Knox County (450.40K). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as non-hispanic were: Pickett County (4.92K), Van Buren County (6.09K), and Moore County (6.36K).
