Rolette County had the highest number of people who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (9,278), followed by Burleigh County (4,257), and Sioux County (3,332). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone were: Slope County (2), Billings County (5), and Steele County (7).
