According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all of Connecticut's cities and places, Bridgeport city had the highest number of voting-age population who identified their race as Black or African American Alone (39.30K), followed by Hartford city (34.97K), and New Haven city (32.25K).
