According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all of Mississippi's cities and places, Jackson city had the highest number of voting-age population who identified their race as Black or African American Alone (91.46K), followed by Gulfport city (20.24K), and Hattiesburg city (19.01K).
