According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for South Dakota counties, in April 2020, among all of South Dakota's cities and places with a voting-age population of at least 10K, Pierre city had the highest percentage of its voting-age population that identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (11.24%), followed by Rapid City city (11.02%), and Aberdeen city (3.16%).
