According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for South Dakota counties, in April 2020, among all South Dakota counties, Oglala Lakota County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (93.78%), followed by Todd County (88.73%), and Buffalo County (81.37%).
