United States Voting-age Population By Race and Ethnicity from Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, the United States voting-age population of 258.34M residents comprised of 43.32M residents who identified as Hispanic or Latino (16.77%), and 215.02M residents who identified as Non-Hispanic (83.23%).

Race: The White Alone voting-age population was the largest racial group in the United States, with a voting-age population of 165.55M (64.08%). The Black or African American Alone voting-age population was the second largest racial group in the United States, with a voting-age population of 30.94M (11.98%). The Two Or More Races voting-age population was the third largest racial group in the United States, with a voting-age population of 22.84M (8.84%). The smallest racial group in the United States was Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander Alone with a voting-age population of 494.84K (0.19%).

Ethnicity: The Non-Hispanic - White Alone voting-age population was the largest ethnic group in the United States, with a voting-age population of 157.12M (60.82%). The Non-Hispanic - Black Alone voting-age population was the second largest ethnic group in the United States, with a voting-age population of 30.27M (11.72%). The Hispanic - Some Other Race Alone voting-age population was the third largest ethnic group in the United States, with a voting-age population of 18.75M (7.26%). The smallest ethnic group was Hispanic - Native Hawaiian & Pac. Islander with a voting-age population of 43.29K (0.02%).
