Arkansas Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Arkansas voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 333,515 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 14.42% of the total voting-age population of Arkansas.

Pulaski County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (105,807), followed by Jefferson County (28,890), and Crittenden County (18,116).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Searcy County (0), Newton County (7), and Stone County (10).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Phillips County had the highest percentage, with 59.70% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Jefferson County (54.23%), and Lee County (52.71%).
