Colorado Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020
According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Colorado voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 175,400 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 3.89% of the total voting-age population of Colorado.
Arapahoe County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (51,427), followed by Denver County (48,224), and El Paso County (33,007).
On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: San Juan County (0), Jackson County (0), and Cheyenne County (1).
In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Arapahoe County had the highest percentage, with 10.25% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Crowley County (9.60%), and Denver County (8.30%).
