Oregon Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Oregon voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 62,346 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 1.85% of the total voting-age population of Oregon.

Multnomah County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (34,216), followed by Washington County (9,850), and Lane County (3,713).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Wheeler County (0), Sherman County (0), and Gilliam County (1).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Multnomah County had the highest percentage, with 5.13% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Washington County (2.12%), and Malheur County (1.67%).
