Wisconsin Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Wisconsin voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 263,609 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 5.72% of the total voting-age population of Wisconsin.

Milwaukee County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (171,562), followed by Dane County (21,138), and Racine County (16,366).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Menominee County (2), Florence County (7), and Iron County (13).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Milwaukee County had the highest percentage, with 23.81% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Racine County (10.69%), and Kenosha County (6.43%).
