Wyoming Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Wyoming voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 3,895 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 0.88% of the total voting-age population of Wyoming.

Laramie County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (1,855), followed by Natrona County (576), and Albany County (348).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Crook County (0), Platte County (1), and Washakie County (5).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Laramie County had the highest percentage, with 2.40% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Albany County (1.13%), and Carbon County (1.01%).
