According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the death rate for Florida was 11.81. Citrus County had the highest death rate (22.21), followed by Sumter County (20.24), and Highlands County (20.03). On the other hand, Orange County had the lowest death rate (7.52), followed by Osceola County (8.34), and Leon County (8.64).
