According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the death rate for Indiana was 8.98. Vermillion had the highest death rate (13.56), followed by Wabash (12.81), and Fayette (12.77). On the other hand, Hamilton had the lowest death rate (4.85), followed by Monroe (6.07), and Hendricks (6.45).
