According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the death rate for Nevada was 7.89. Nye County had the highest death rate (15.91), followed by Mineral County (15.06), and Carson City (11.97). On the other hand, Storey County had the lowest death rate (3.12), followed by Elko County (4.27), and Esmeralda County (4.76).
