According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the death rate for Ohio was 10.48. Jefferson County had the highest death rate (14.59), followed by Fayette County (14.54), and Crawford County (14.12). On the other hand, Delaware County had the lowest death rate (5.65), followed by Union County (6.74), and Athens County (6.92).
