According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the death rate for Texas was 6.91. Loving County had the highest death rate (24), followed by Baylor County (18.92), and Cottle County (18.77). On the other hand, Glasscock County had the lowest death rate (3.66), followed by Fort Bend County (4.22), and Brazos County (4.4).
