According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2013, the number of deaths for Alaska was 4,038. Anchorage Borough had the highest number of deaths (1,587), followed by Matanuska-Susitna Borough (557), and Fairbanks North Star Borough (473). On the other hand, Skagway Borough had the lowest number of deaths (0), followed by Yakutat City and Borough (3), and Aleutians East Borough (7).
