According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2016, the number of deaths for Georgia was 80,067, and the top three counties that had the highest number of deaths were:
- Fulton County: 6,268
- DeKalb County: 4,514
- Gwinnett County: 4,245
On the other hand, the top 3 counties that had the lowest number of deaths were:
- Webster County: 19
- Quitman County: 26
- Taliaferro County: 29
