According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the number of deaths for Georgia was 82,135, and the top three counties that had the highest number of deaths were:
- Fulton County: 6,363
- DeKalb County: 4,637
- Gwinnett County: 4,271
On the other hand, the top 3 counties that had the lowest number of deaths were:
- Taliaferro County: 16
- Quitman County: 24
- Echols County: 29
