According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the number of deaths for Maryland was 51,671. Baltimore County had the highest number of deaths (8,640), followed by Prince George's County (6,889), and Baltimore city (6,780). On the other hand, Kent County had the lowest number of deaths (289), followed by Somerset County (290), and Caroline County (358).
