According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the number of deaths for Maryland was 49,829. Baltimore had the highest number of deaths (8,543), followed by Baltimore city (6,664), and Prince George's (6,572). On the other hand, Kent had the lowest number of deaths (246), followed by Somerset (294), and Garrett (336).
