According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2018, the number of deaths for Minnesota was 44,588. Hennepin County had the highest number of deaths (8,852), followed by Ramsey County (4,511), and Dakota County (2,589). On the other hand, Red Lake County had the lowest number of deaths (38), followed by Lake of the Woods County (48), and Cook County (55).
