United States Deaths By State in 2018

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2018, the number of deaths for the United States was 2,839,277. California had the highest number of deaths (270,180), followed by Florida (206,543), and Texas (202,260). On the other hand, Alaska had the lowest number of deaths (4,435), followed by Wyoming (4,867), and District of Columbia (4,943).
