According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the number of deaths for New York was 155,117. Kings County had the highest number of deaths (16,010), followed by Queens County (14,648), and Suffolk County (12,473). On the other hand, Hamilton County had the lowest number of deaths (67), followed by Schuyler County (219), and Lewis County (244).
