According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2020, the number of deaths for Tennessee was 73,874. Shelby County had the highest number of deaths (9,204), followed by Davidson County (5,962), and Knox County (4,888). On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest number of deaths (63), followed by Moore County (63), and Van Buren County (67).
