According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the number of deaths for Washington was 70,778, and the top three counties that had the highest number of deaths were:

  1. King County: 15,857
  2. Pierce County: 8,492
  3. Snohomish County: 6,775

On the other hand, the top 3 counties that had the lowest number of deaths were:

  1. Garfield County: 33
  2. Wahkiakum County: 60
  3. Columbia County: 72
