According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the number of deaths for Washington was 56,064, and the top three counties that had the highest number of deaths were:

  1. King County: 13,072
  2. Pierce County: 6,902
  3. Snohomish County: 5,540

On the other hand, the top 3 counties that had the lowest number of deaths were:

  1. Garfield County: 19
  2. Wahkiakum County: 45
  3. Columbia County: 62
