Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 18,628 people that identified as Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in Idaho and they represented 1.08% of the total population of Idaho in 2017. Bingham County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (2,532), followed by Bannock County (2,360), and Ada County (2,252). On the other hand, Clark County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (8), followed by Camas County (15), and Oneida County (20).
