Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 79,415 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in South Carolina and they represented 1.60% of the total population of South Carolina in 2016. Greenville County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (12,164), followed by Richland County (11,451), and Spartanburg County (7,000). On the other hand, Calhoun County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (37), followed by Allendale County (48), and McCormick County (49).
