Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, there were 192,088 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Alabama and they represented 3.98% of the total population of Alabama in 2013.

Jefferson County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (24,060), followed by Madison County (15,908), and Marshall County (11,996). On the other hand, Greene County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (89), followed by Choctaw County (96), and Wilcox County (100).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Franklin County had the highest percentage (15.58%), followed by DeKalb County (13.88%), and Marshall County (12.71%).
