Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 657,118 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Connecticut and they represented 18.21% of the total population of Connecticut in 2022.
Capitol Planning Region had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (171,596), followed by Western Connecticut Planning Region (126,854), and South Central Connecticut Planning Region (110,786).
