Connecticut Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2022

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 657,118 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Connecticut and they represented 18.21% of the total population of Connecticut in 2022.

Capitol Planning Region had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (171,596), followed by Western Connecticut Planning Region (126,854), and South Central Connecticut Planning Region (110,786). On the other hand, Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (5,049), followed by Northwest Hills Planning Region (10,076), and Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region (13,685).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Greater Bridgeport Planning Region had the highest percentage (26.52%), followed by Western Connecticut Planning Region (20.37%), and Naugatuck Valley Planning Region (19.98%).
