According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net domestic migration for New Jersey was -44,666. Burlington County had the highest net domestic migration (1,751) followed by Gloucester County (1,178), and Sussex County (392). On the other hand, Hudson County had the lowest net domestic migration (-10,956), followed by Essex County (-9,874), and Middlesex County (-7,000).
