According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the net domestic migration rate for West Virginia was -5.55. Berkeley County had the highest net domestic migration rate (11.22) followed by Morgan County (11.07), and Hampshire County (7.62). On the other hand, McDowell County had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-29.97), followed by Mingo County (-20.06), and Webster County (-19.17).
