According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the net international migration for Connecticut was 16,211. Fairfield County had the highest net international migration (5,554) followed by Hartford County (4,533), and New Haven County (3,766). On the other hand, Litchfield County had the lowest net international migration (176), followed by Windham County (305), and Middlesex County (324).
