According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the net international migration for Louisiana was 6,523. Jefferson Parish had the highest net international migration (1,738) followed by East Baton Rouge Parish (1,060), and Orleans Parish (972). On the other hand, Washington Parish had the lowest net international migration (-8), followed by Iberville Parish (-4), and Concordia Parish (-4).

Net International migration for a given county refers to the difference between the number of people moving to the county from other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia) and the number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States.
