Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the 9,903,580 population of Georgia comprised of 883,947 people who identified as Hispanic (8.93%), and 9,019,633 people who identified as Non-Hispanic (91.07%).

Race: The White Alone population was the largest racial group in Georgia, with a population of 6,203,169 (62.64%). Black or African American Alone population was the second largest racial group in Georgia, with a population of 3,101,234 (31.31%). Asian Alone population was the third largest racial group in Georgia, with a population of 355,294 (3.59%).

Ethnicity: The White Alone - Non Hispanic population was the largest ethnic group in Georgia, with a population of 5,466,122 (55.19%). Black or African American Alone - Non Hispanic population was the second largest ethnic group in Georgia, with a population of 3,021,393 (30.51%).
