Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, among all New Mexico counties, McKinley County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native (74%), followed by Cibola County (39.54%), and San Juan County (37.95%).
