Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, the Death Rate per 1K for the United States was 8.4. Among all US counties, Hooker County had the highest death rate (34.34), followed by Galax city (28.35), and Sierra County (24.75).
On the other hand, Kalawao County had the lowest death rate (0) followed by Grant County (1.52), and Summit County (2.08).
