Non-Compliance Description:

HATS Category III: Water and Feed Availability On 7/15/2025 at approximately 0730, I observed the following noncompliance. While performing a routine humane handling verification task, I observed one (1) market beef and two (2) veal calves inside a livestock trailer parked on establishment premises near the animal receiving area with no access to water. Upon interviewing establishment personnel, it was confirmed that the animals had been delivered the previous day and had remained on the trailer overnight. The plants manager who had observed the noncompliance immediately provided water. Per 9 CFR 313.2(e), animals shall have access to water in all holding pens.
