At 8:43 am on 5/17/21 Inspector Hayes noted this non-compliance in the barn of Royal Butcher, dealing with Humane handling, REDACTED the manager told inspection that Mr. REDACTED brought 1 pig and its ready to be looked at. inspection went in to perform ante-mortem the 1 market swine was in the chute both exits closed; the animal was small enough to turn to complete ante-mortem for inspector but then inspection noted no water available for the market swine. Which brings the establishment out of compliance on 9 CFR 313.2(e) all animals must have access to water when being held in pens waiting to be slaughtered. After informing REDACTED the kill floor manager he quickly provided water to the 1 market swine. Which brings the establishment back into compliance with 9 CFR 313.2(e). at this time (9:30 am) slaughter has continued as normal REDACTED was informed of the non-compliance both in written form and verbally
