On September 26th at 630am I, REDACTED, CSI, observed the following noncompliance. While conducting the Humane Handling Task, I observed a hole in one of the walls in the indoor upper pen where they store small pigs. This is a violation of CFR 313.1(a); any loose boards that have any unnecessary opening pose the risk of causing harm to an animal should any head, feet, or legs come into contact with the boards.. I spoke with employee REDACTED on the violation, and he said that he will address the problem.
