At approximately 0755 on July 10, 2023, I CSI REDACTED, was performing a humane handling inspection task and verifying the HATS categories during anti mortem inspection. I observed multiple broken wires that comprise the fence material in the number one holding pens and in the alleyway are poking slightly inwards. No animals were in the pen at the time. The condition created by the broken wires could cause injury or pain to the animals. The regulation that was violated 9 CFR 313.1 (a). I informed Mr. REDACTED. The establishment did not use the number one pen for holding animals and it will not be used until repairs are completed.
