HATS Category VIII: Stunning Effectiveness On 10/10/2022 at approximately 1400 hours an establishment employee was observed attempting to stun a heifer with an inline captive bolt stunner. The animal immediately collapsed and was rolled out however the eyes were observed tracking and head movement was observed. The establishment employee immediately made a second stunning attempt however, upon application, the animal sat upright and alert with eyes tracking. A third attempt was made after a few minutes which resulted in a successful stun. Mr. REDACTED was notified of the noncompliance with 9 CFR 313.15(a)(1). REDACTED, CSI
