Non-Compliance Description:

Category III- Water and Feed Availability On 8/25/23 at approximately 1200 hours, while performing a Livestock Humane Handling Verification task, I observed the following noncompliance. There were approximately 5 cows in the pen immediately to the right while facing the entrance to the barn (Pen 2). The pen had a water bucket that was empty and the inside was completely dry. The pen to the left side of the entrance to the barn (Pen 1) contained numerous lambs. The sides of the water bucket in Pen 1 were too high for the lambs to reach the water inside.
