DVM Dr. REDACTED and IIC REDACTED conducted a facility walk-through of establishment M763 to verify the Livestock Humane Handling review and observation task on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023, around 9:00AM. The following non-compliance was observed. There were three cattle in the alley of the holding pens. The cattle were positioned to where they were able to back up to an open pen, but there was no access to water along the alley, or the open pen. The record above is found to be non-compliant with 9 CFR 313.2. The Plant Manager, REDACTED, was notified of this finding verbally and in writing of this Non-compliance Report, to which she immediately informed an employee to provide water to the animals.
